As Chief Executive Officer and son of Ahmad founder of Al-Ghurair Investment, Abdulla Al Ghurair has played a key role in driving the consolidation of company in the investment sector and facilitated the emergence of II as the leading Arab investment company. He began his career as a Lecturer in the deparment of Electrical Engrneering, University of Notre Dame, proceeded in serving as the General Manager, Director, assistant professor in companies and instructions. He is a member of the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association’s Advisory Council and other professional associations in Saudi Arabia and UAE. Abdulla Al Ghurair holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
Rasak Ahmed
Chief Investment Officer (CIO)
He served as the Head of Equity Opportunities in Aljabar Funding Foundation, where was mandated with identifying strategic partners and assuming equity stakes in MENA based and global companies. Prior to his current role, he gained 15 years of equity research experience at buy and sell side institutions in the Europe and Middle East, including Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and JPMorgan Chase. He also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst charter designation. Rasak Ahmed holds a degree in Economics.
Mr. Khalid Mahmoud
Arbitrator and litigator under the UAE legal bar association , qualified member of the Government of Dubai legal Affairs and UAE Rulers Court.He holds a bachelor of law and Shariah from University of Al –Azhar, Egypt (2005). He has been working as a legal counsel for years as well as attending continues legal workshops in different subjects. He has an extensive professional experience in UAE law and government procedures.Associate Member of Dubai International Arbitration Centre, Member of the Abu Dhabi International Arbitration Centre.
Khalid Sani
Our Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
As the firm’s Chief financial Officer, Khalid Sani is responsible for managing the financial and operational issues, including compliance related functions. He joined Al-Ghurair Investment Group in 1995 and has held a number of key positions in the course of his service with the firm. Prior to joining Al-Ghurair, Khalid Sani worked for nine years at Commercial International Bank (CIB). He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Cairo University.

Foreign Investment Officer-2
As one of the foreign investment Officers, Abdul is responsible for sourcing for foreign projects and initiate discussions for investments into viable projects. He joined Al-Ghurair Investment Group in 2021 and has showed a remarkable skill in loan and investment deals.
